A tribute to, in my opinion one of the greatest automobiles ever produced – the British Mini. With a production run of over 5 million between 1959 and 2000, it has become an icon – and was featured prominently in many films. In this tribute, I highlight two – “The Italian Job” and “Goodbye Pork Pie”, two films featuring cheeky, loveable crooks using the Mini as a plucky and nimble escape vehicle. Enjoy! (I do of course not own any rights to The Italian Job or Goodbye Pork Pie – these rest with Paramount and AMA Films. Music by Quincy Jones)
