Brand new Drift format being debuted in Auckland, New Zealand by Mad Mike Whiddett, the brain behind ” Red Bull Drift Shifters “, Proximity sensors have been attached to a pin ball styled obstacle course. The proximity sensors measure how fast and close the drivers are to each of the obstacles. And like a pin ball machine; the closer they get, the more points they get. Points will be tallied instantly and displayed on a big screen so the crowd can see their final score as they freestyle round the course. Each of the 12 drivers will enter one at a time against the clock through the course, with the best precision drift car driver being rewarded.
