2013 Chevy Equinox – How to Pair iPhone and Place Calls at Phillips Chevrolet – Car Sales Chicago

by Craig on 07/03/2013

www.phillipschevy.com – Today at Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Illinois we’re going to join sales consultant Julian Dean as he shows us how to pair an iPhone and place calls in a 2013 Chevy Equinox. We start by pressing the config button below the display screen which brings up a menu of configuration options. On the touchscreen, we’ll press the option that says “Phone Settings” and then choose “Pair Device.” Then we turn to the phone where we will go to settings and enable Bluetooth which will then search for available connections and detect the car. Once the car appears as an available device, we select it and will be prompted to enter the code provided on the car’s screen. Once these steps have been completed, the phone will be paired to the car and will appear on the car’s list of paired devices. Next we will store a number from the phone into the car’s memory so it can be accessed while driving without having to fumble with the phone. Once the number has been punched in, the car will use the phone’s network to place the call while the audio will come through the car’s sound system. If you would like an in-person demonstration, stop in and see us at 9700 West Lincoln Highway or give us a call at 866-407-4885.
