This video is part of a series on replacing the factory radio unit, amp, and speakers in a 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla. Radio Removal Video ~ www.youtube.com THINGS YOU WILL NEED: -Phillips (+) & Flathead (-) Screwdrivers (or plastic pry tool) -Large Rag/Paper Towel (keep passenger seat clean) -Small Rag (protect plastic if not using plastic pry tool) -10mm Bolt/Socket Wrench (and/or socket extension) -Magnetic Grabby Thingy (it’s a technical term; get it right) IMPORTANT: Always disconnect the negative battery terminal with the keys in the ignition turned to ACC mode to ensure all power is discharged from the system and minimize the risk of shock. RADIO SECURITY CODE: Some models will have a radio security code to prevent theft of the factory radio. These codes are either set by factory, the user, or are some digits from your VIN plate. PLEASE ASK YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THESE CODES, as you will need them if you choose to sell or reinstall the stock deck/head unit. Below is the list of items I am replacing my stock speakers with: Front Speakers – Alpine SPR-60 Rear Speakers – Alpine SPR-69 Deck/Head Unit – Pioneer DEH-X5500HD Single DIN Bracket – Scosche TA2048B / TA2048 Wiring Harness – Scosche TA02B / TA02 4 Channel Amplifier – MTX TD75.4 Wiring Kit/Fuses – The InstallBay AK4
